Alison Wolf is the Sir Roy Griffiths Professor of Public Sector Management at King’s College London and sits in the House of Lords as a cross-bench peer. She specialises in the relationship between education and the labour market and directs the International Centre for University Policy Research within the Policy Institute at King’s. In March 2011 she completed the Wolf Review of Vocational Education for the Secretary of State for Education, whose recommendations were accepted and implemented; and she was also a member of the Independent Panel on Technical Education, chaired by Lord David Sainsbury, whose 2016 report is the basis of the UK government’s Skills Plan.
