Christos Mylonopoulos is ordinary Professor of Criminal Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Founder and President of the European and International Criminal Law Institute, Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Salzburg) and Member of the Scientific Committee of the Greek Parliament. He is author of numerous works on Criminal Law and International Criminal law in German, English and Greek language. He has taught as Gastprofessor International and European Criminal law at the University of Munich (1992-1994) and has given lectures at the Universities of Frankfurt, Freiburg, Munich, Beijing, London, Vienna, Constantinopel, Salerno, at the National Magistrates Academy of Budapest, etc. Works of him have been translated into Chinese, Japanish, Spanish, Turkish and Italian language. His book “Criminal Law in international Context” was published in Argentina in 2017. As a practicing Lawyer he defends cases mainly in the field of financial criminality.
