Versatile and highly accomplished health care professional, Panos Minogiannis, has over 15 years of administrative, operational and teaching experience within the international healthcare industry. As the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center General Manager, he has been leading its financial turnaround since 2014. After serving as the Health Services Coordinator for the ATHENS 2004 Olympics, he worked at executive level in the health sector in the state of Qatar and in Greece, most notably as the CEO and President of the Board for the Athens Oncology Center “St. Savvas” during the initial phase of the fiscal adjustment period (2010-2013). He earned his PhD from Columbia University and is the 2001 Marisa de Castro Benton Award recipient for outstanding dissertation for his thesis on European Integration and Health Policy. From 2009 to 2014, he was also a visiting lecturer at the same institution as well as at the Open University of Cyprus. In 2016, he received a recognition for outstanding achievement in support of the White House Medical Unit and the President of the United States.
