Iasson Tsakonas graduated from Cornell University, Statler School of Hotel Administration, in 1994 and worked as an analyst for Prudential Securities in New York until 1996, when he moved to Baku, Azerbaijan for three years and started his own business in finance and property development; he remained active in Azerbaijan until 2006. In 1999 he also entered the start-up technology sector both as a principle and an investor.
In 2002 he established OLIAROS Properties, introducing a new-generation approach to property development in Greece with his first project, award winning AntiparosDesignProperties on the island of Antiparos, Cyclades, developing 42 properties, with a GBA of 15,000m2, in 500.000m2, over the past 15 years.
In 2006 he designed KM (Kerameikos Metaxourgeio) Properties, a city regeneration project in the Athens city center that included development of 35 buildings, totaling 36.000m2.
Iasson Tsakonas is passionate about sustainable development and is in search of developing new summer residential projects.
