Leonidas Christopoulos is a political scientist and Senior Policy Advisor to the President of the Hellenic Major Opposition Party, New Democracy, on issues of State and Public Administration Reform. He is a graduate of the Hellenic Center of Public Administration and Local Government and has worked in various Ministries both as a civil servant and as advisor to Ministers, including the former Ministers of Administrative Reform and Finance. He has been involved in significant projects such as the reorganization of the Greek Central administration, the modernization of the Greek public financial management system and the reduction of administrative burdens to businesses. Mr. Christopoulos, has written several articles on regulatory and public administration reforms. His latest publication by the Dianeosis Think Tank is titled: Overregulation and Bad Regulation in Greece: a plan for a better and more efficient State. He is currently a PhD candidate in the University of Athens.
