Olga Kefalogianni was born in Athens in 1975. She served as Minister of Tourism of Greece (June 2012-January 2015). Ms Kefalogianni is an attorney at law, member of the Athens Bars Association. From 1998 onwards she has worked as a lawyer in major law firms in Athens, Greece and New York, U.S.A. She has also worked at the Legal Services of the European Commission in Brussels. From May 2004 up to September 2006 she served as legal advisor to the former Prime Minister of Greece. She holds a bachelor degree in Law at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Commercial and Corporate Law from King's College, University of London and a post-graduate degree in international relations (GMAP) the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. She is the author of the book "The role of the European Union in the Cyprus conflict", which has been published by the Livanis publishing house. She has been elected as Member of Parliament (New Democracy) in 2007, 2009 2012, 2015 elections.
