Alexandros Stanas is an Arts Policy & Management expert. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics & Business and an MA in Arts Policy and Management from City University – London. He served as an executive or advisor within various organizations and realized numerous cultural events, emphasizing in contemporary arts. Was general director of the International Contemporary Art Fair of Athens ART-ATHINA, general director of FOUGARO ART CENTER, Nafplion, Greece, project coordinator of SUMMER NOSTOS FESTIVAL at the STAVROS NIARCHOS FOUNDATION CULTURAL CENTER, Athens. Currently director of the FKPCOLLECTION and senior advisor to SCHWARZ FOUNDATION, Greece-Germany. He is editor on art & economy at THE ART NEWSPAPER and gives lectures on Arts Management.
