Artemis Seaford is a Public Policy Manager on Facebook’s Cybersecurity policy team, where she leads policy development to combat emerging threats from adversarial actors in at-risk-countries, as well as efforts to make the platform more transparent to users. Previously, Artemis worked in migration policy and refugee reception programming at Open Society Foundations, the Refugee Hub, and Radcliffe foundation. Trained as a lawyer in the US, she has clerked for the Supreme Court of Rwanda, and worked on antitrust matters in Washington, DC. She started her career as a management consultant, first at Oliver Wyman and then at McKinsey. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, a M.P.P from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a B.A. from the University of Oxford. Artemis was a 2017 Atlantic Council Millennium Fellow. Originally from Athens, Greece, she splits her time between Athens and San Francisco.
