Elias G. Bellos is a journalist, political scientist and internationalist. He has been working for the newspaper Kathimerini since 2011 while he has also collaborated with the newspaper Kefalaio, the site capital.gr and a number of other media. He has also been Editor-in-Chief of the weekly financial newspaper "Isotimia" for many years and Editor-in-Chief of the site isotimia.gr, as well as the financial magazine Banker's Review. He has also been the organizer of financial conferences at Boussias Communications and from 2007 to 2011 has worked as Managing Director in the New Media of the Daily Press Group.
Mr. Bellos has also been the head of the International Relations Department of the Nemesis groups and ADELE SA (Development of Business Week and Bloomberg branded content & syndication projects, Paragraph Publishing joint venture, McGraw-Hill venture) while in his 25-year career in the media he has published magazines such as the Greek Business Review and the Whiskey Magazine. At the same time, he collaborated with a number of other news outlets of the print and electronic press. On television, among other things, he has worked as the main presenter of the daily live show "Shopping Hour" while he has worked as an editor and presenter on the radio stations 9.84 and Planet.
In his career, he has also worked in the Development, Promotion, Communication and Commercial Exploitation of SMEs as well as research, as he collaborated in the preparation of studies and special publications of the Hellenic Center for European Studies. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Kent at Canterbury in Theory & Philosophy of International Relations & Conflict Resolution and a degree from the National University of Kapodistrias in International and European Studies. He graduated from Athens College in 1985. He is married with two children and lives in Athens.
