Leigh Harrison
Head, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets

Leigh is Head of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA). Based in London, Leigh leads the world’s largest infrastructure manager, supporting the growth of the business across new sectors and markets. Leigh is also the head of MIRA’s business in EMEA, where he is responsible for overseeing investments in the region. In this role, Leigh has successfully established new European infrastructure funds, overseen the acquisition and divestment of numerous assets, as well as acquiring or developing new platforms.  

Leigh joined Macquarie in 2002 where he was an integral part of a team which established MAM’s first three European infrastructure funds and played a key role in a significant number of acquisitions for those funds. Leigh was previously Global Chief Operating Officer for MIRA, where he worked closely with senior leadership on business development initiatives, global business strategy, and other strategic initiatives including M&A activity.
