Dr. Maurizio Isabella has studied at the Universities of Milan and Cambridge, where he obtained his doctorate in 2000. He has taught at Birkbeck College and Queen Mary College. He was Visiting professor at the University of Calabria, Arcavacata (2015) and and Professeur Invité, École Normale Supérieure, Paris (2017).
He has held fellowships at CRASSH (2004), Birkbeck (2005), Princeton (2006) and the Center For European Studies at Harvard (2013), at the Instituto Ciencias Sociais, (ICS), Lisbon (2015), at the Casa Velasquez, Madrid (2016). He is currently holding a EURIAS mobility fellow at the Madrid Institute of Advanced Studies (2017-18), and has been awarded a Fernand Braudel Fellowship at European University Institute, Florence for the Autumn 2018.
