The 4th Southeast Europe & East Med took place in February 6-7, 2023 in Washington DC.
On Monday February 6th, we were excited to work with 3 leading, policy think tanks, the Centre for Maritime Strategy, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, to discuss key issues of regional interest. Later that day, the "ηγέτης" award was given for the first time to the great benefactor of the Greek diaspora in the US, Angelo Tsakopoulos. It was presented to him by fmr. Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, at a dinner attended by powerful people from Greece and USA who were there to acknowledge his life's work.
The 4th edition of the Southeast Europe & East Med Forum concluded Tuesday afternoon after various sessions between stakeholders, on regional politics, policy and business, the conference asked and answered important questions paving the way for further integration of respective parties in the SE Europe & East Med.
