Delphi Economic Forum at the 7th Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum

The President of Delphi Economic Forum, Mr. Symeon G. Tsomokos, participated in two panels at the 7th Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum, that took place on May 18-19, 2023.

Mr. Tsomokos moderated the first panel, titled "Can Europe Achieve Energy Independence? New Strategies for Old Problems", with H.E. Mr. Victor Parlicov, Minister of Energy, Republic of Moldova, Mr. Yannis Maniatis, former Minister of Environment, Energy, Climate Change, Greece, H.E. Mr. Virgil Popescu, Minister of Energy, Romania, and Amb. Lazăr Comanescu, Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Romania

On the 2nd panel, titled "New and Old Challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean Area", Mr. Tsomokos participated as a speaker, alongside: Ms. Antonia Colibasanu, Senior Associate Expert, New Strategy Center & Chief Operating Officer & Senior Geopolitical Analyst, Geopolitical Futures, Romania, Mr. Yossi Mann, Head of Israel and the Arab Gulf Program, Abba Eban Institute. Israel, Mr. Mitat Çelikpala, Kadir Has University, Department of International Relations, Turkiye, and Mr. Andreas Theophanous, President of the Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs, Head of the Department of Politics and Governance, University of Nicosia, Cyprus.
